Those in power like to psychologize situations to give those in powerless situations the illusion of agency. For example saying a person isn’t finding a job because they have a bad attitude. This is pinning something out of their control (finding a job) on them to make it seem like they have more control over the situation than they really do. Considering modern psychology is a tool of oppressing those on the bottom this doesn’t surprise me a bit.
